I found my GBA. Surprisinly enough, it was in my backpack. Crazy, eh?

Iron & Wine. Great music. Its very calm. I picked up this album when I was in Colorado. We listened to it while we spent a rainy sunday indoors building a couch fort and working on our anagrams. It was Theresa, her boyfriend Kyle and I. I did most of the construction on the fort and Kyle was the technical advisor. He made the tough decisions about which pillows were fort worthy and which got thrown at Theresa. It was good times.

But, I'm listening to that album right now and I've rather quickly lost the desire to do anything but lay around and be very lethargic. This is a problem I have: music governs my mood. If I'm not careful, like right now, I will put on some music and not be able to do what I meant to do. And other times, I can be pissy as hell and throw in some happy music and be totally rad. Its a give and take. And I think I've mentioned this before, but eh. And as Hajduch says, "whatev."

I haven't listened to this CD much since I got back from "the vacation" but it is bringing back some awesome memories. Nothing in particular, just a general feeling of internal pressure from being overful. I love this feeling. Its edgy; makes me jittery and I get somewhat paranoid. But, at the same time, I feel as if I have unbridled possibilities; if I could just contain myself for 5 minutes and write them down.

Of course I never write them down, they aren't really there.

Its just a faded memory being resurrected. At the time, I was probably just frustrated with my life and was antsy. But through the foggy eyes of my memory, it was a time of great passion and energy. Isn't selective memory a wonderful thing?

And for the full vacation post? Well, who knows. I feel as if it has no relevance as I have been back for three weeks now. But, its almost done. And yes, still getting longer.
