Gentle reader, I have left you too long. I have, in fact, been working on the vacation post. Its, uh, getting unweildly. This is caused by two things:

1. I am terrible writer, as you all know
2. Far more importantly, my friends (you) rule way too hard. Which means tons of crazy stuff happened.

HOWEVER:
As pointed out by Joe in D.C., "I think everybody made really down music for awhile, got bummed out and starting making happy music again." I am about 6 months behind the musical curve so I have been listening to mainly bumming music for awhile. To combat this, I started listening to ska again.

There are, approximately, 45,000 covers of 99 red balloons. I have heard it in three languages so far in past week: English, German and Japanese. I am certain there are more. I am, somewhat, tempted to create a mix cd of nothing but that song. This has probably already been done. I love coming up with ideas that are three years old. It is my specialty.

Or something.

I think my specialty is failing while laughing, but that's a whole different story(ies).
